Northern Wind Hires Industry Veteran Eli Hollon as Senior Director of Quality Assurance

Hollon Brings More Than 18 Years of Proven Seafood Quality Assurance Expertise to Northern Wind

New Bedford, Massachusetts – Northern Wind, an industry leader as a direct off-loader, processor, and distributor of fresh and frozen seafood products announced the appointment of Eli Hollon as Senior Director of Quality Assurance. Hollon comes to Northern Wind after spending the past 15 months as Director, Food Safety and Quality Assurance at Ren Seafoods and will report directly to Lisa Waite, Chief Operating Officer of Northern Wind.

As Senior Director of Quality Assurance, Hollon will work closely with the Northern Wind’s executive team to direct, manage and supervise all facets of Northern Wind’s QA and QC programs while working with cross-departmental leadership to deliver high quality seafood products for Northern Wind’s customers. Hollon will also develop new safety and quality procedures, assist with FDA, USDC, USDA, BRC, MSC, and MA Department of Health inspections. He will also be responsible to update quality procedures for establishing and enforcing quality standards and the testing of materials for new products.
